Types of constraints
- [Instructor] In the last video we created a simple alignment, had no curves, it was pretty much a straight poly-line type of geometry. Let's add some curves in this video, let's go to our exercise file from the quick access toolbar of Civil 3D, we're going to open up our exercise file and it's 0603 align constraints. So as we add the curves we're going to learn a little bit about the constraints that are expected of alignment geometry. We are wanting to not add a new alignment but edit this alignment, so I want to do something to this alignment. I'm going to select it. Make sure you get the alignment and not one of the alignment labels, the contextual ribbon for the alignment opens up and we're looking for the geometry editor. So I have this selected, the contextual ribbon, modify panel geometry editor, and this tool bar will open up and notice it names and tells us which alignment these tools are available for. Now what we did, is we actually created fixed lines in our last video…
