Understanding profile labels

- [Instructor] In the previous videos in this chapter, we've looked at creating profiles and profile views. Now let's take a look at the different types of labels for profiles and profile views and how they work. There are basically two types of labels for profiles and profile views. One for the profiles and one for the profile views. To edit labels for a profile or to just add them in the first place, you would click that profile, and then click Edit Profile Labels on the ribbon. You'll see a lot of similarities here with alignment labels, where you can add instances of labels, and Civil 3D will automatically add those labels everywhere those things exist. So for example, I've got on the first line here major stations. So I'm going to add a specific type of label style every 100 feet, which includes the station and a tick mark to mark the location.
