- [Instructor] Sometimes we need Civil 3D to give us information, rather than the other way around. A great tool for doing that is the Inquiry Tool. Let's see how it works. To get started, I'm going to go to the Analyze tab of the ribbon, which you can see I've already done. And over here to the right, you'll see the Inquiry Tool. I'll go ahead and launch that. And I'm going to hold down the center mouse button and pan my drawing just to the left a bit. And also, you may want to stretch the window out to the right just a bit, so you can see all the information in the window. Now, to execute the command I want to execute, I'll go here to the drop-down, and I'll expand Point and click Point Inverse. What I want to do is undergo an inverse command between the lower left and the upper right endpoints of this line.
