- [LECTURER] Civil 3D provides some specific tools in the ribbon for editing pressure pipe networks in plan view. Let's take a look at how they work. Our goal for this exercise is to connect our new water line to the existing water line out here along Emerson road. So to get started, we're going to transform this Polyline here to a pipe run that's part of our network. So I'll start by selecting the network that we've already created. And then up here on the add new pipe run dropdown, I'm going to select create pipe run from object. So it's important to note, we're not creating a brand new pipe network, we're creating a new run within the network that we've already been working on. I'll launch the command, select the polyline and click okay to accept the direction of flow. For my pipe run name, I'm going to call this existing water. And for the parts list, I'll select existing water supply. Pipe size will be six inch ductile…
