Editing existing dimensions

In this video we will alter some existing dimension objects. Open the Architectural2 sample file from the Chapter 10 folder. Here we have a bit of a mess. You notice over here there's a lot of complexity here and it's really hard to tell what we're looking at. So, it's important to clarify to the viewer of the drawing what they're seeing. And a lot of that has to do with the positioning of your dimension objects. So right here we have this dimension. It says 2 foot 6, evidently that is the door opening, and it's just hard to read because the number's down here. I'll click on this object. I don't want to see the quick properties, so I'm going to toggle that off, and I'm going to select this grip on the text. I'd like to move the text only up here. Now, that's going to be much more clear. I see the dimension of the opening in the opening. I'll press Esc.
