Moving and copying

In this video, I'll discuss the Move and Copy commands. I'll also cover the Copy command's Array option, which lets you copy multiple objects all at once. Open the Architectural sample file, and zoom in to the living room over here on the right. Let's start by moving this lounge chair around to gain some practice with the Move command. Click Move on the Modify panel, and you're at a Select objects prompt. Pick the lounge chair, and you're still in the Select objects prompt. So we need to exit from this selection mode. You can do that by pressing the Spacebar or the Enter key. Now it says Specify base point. Basically with the Move command, you'll be moving from point a to point b. The base point you can think of as point a. And in this case, it doesn't really matter where the base point is on the screen. We just need to click some place. I'll click right here.
