Polylines
I'm going to discuss poly lines in this video. As the name suggests, poly lines are many segmented lines that behave as single objects. Before we create a poly line, let's start by drawing a few line segments with the line command. Click line and simply click a few points on screen. Like so. Right click to end the line command. Now let's follow this up with the poly line command. It works very much the same way. I can specify points, just like this. You might notice that there are more options on the command line, and we'll get to some of those in due course. I'll right click to end the command. So visually they look very much the same. But they're handled a bit differently. This is a single object. You can see that because the whole object highlights. These are individual line segments which are separate objects. Let's move.
