Adding chilled-water piping
With the aid of our tool pallet, we can start adding specific piping types. Regardless of the equipment in the drawings, we can run pipe specifically designated as chilled, hot, steam or whatever. This video has its going to the piping profile, to allow us to grab some chilled and hot water pipe. Of course we need something to make the chilled water chilly, so we'll be adding a large chiller to the drawing. We'll run our pipe from the chiller, up and over some walls then we'll drop back to take a look at some of the pipes. Then we'll remodel some returned chilled water to complete the loop. So to get started, let's hop into our MEP mechanical drawing. On the home tab let's go ahead and click the equipment button. Let's scroll down until we find chillers. Let's click on centrifugal chiller. I'm going to grab the top one, in the part size list. For my elevation, I'm going to be a little smarter this time and type in zero and hit enter.
