Creating isometric riser diagrams

Let's jump back to Plumbing. You may or may not have remembered a video where we added plumbing lines. They were just 2D line work, but we added it as if it was 3D. AutoCAD puts stuff on the right layers and even added the symbology for the accessories we added as we were placing the items. Well, AutoCAD MEP allows you to do a similar task but in a nice symmetric format. The objective of these video is to go to the schematic work space and start adding asymmetrical line work. We will then start adding symbols for petraps and laterals. Of course, we will then go back and check the properties of our line work. In AutoCAD MEP 2015, let's go to the Get Started area. Under Templates, let's click the drop down here, and let's grab AECB model, US imperial CTB. Let's go to Workspace Switching, and let's make sure we have Schematic set current. You may have to dock your tool palettes and your properties. Once you have these two items docked, go to 2-Palette Schematic. Let's go the Isometric…
