Routing ducts

You may have noticed that, every object we've been placing in our drawings, have had special little connectors on them. When we select a unit, you see a little plus symbol, which enables us to draw a duct, or a pipe, from that object. This makes it easier to set your height for your duct, while you're placing it in your drawing. This video, will have us adding ductwork from selecting a component, then clicking the plus sign, and draw in the duct from there. We'll also add a system duct, by pulling a specific duct from the palette. Then we'll go back and see how to route the duct, over other ducts, to avoid clashes. So let's hop into our MEP Mechanical. Let's zoom in on our roof top unit. Our VAV. The first thing I want to do, is start drawing some duct off of my RTU. To do that, I'm going to select my rooftop unit. I have a plus sign right here.
