- [Narrator] I want to take you through the process of actually drawing a part, so you can see the similarities and differences in the drafting process. Pointing out little differences here and there is fine, but I think this is going to be an extremely helpful exercise, so you can see some of these differences in practice, and how they might affect your own workflow. As we progress through the rest of the course, we'll use this drawing to create layouts, add dimensions, and eventually plot. So, I'm going to insert a picture of a small bracket into my drawing. Then, we can draw it together, with the measurements we see on the screen. You do not have to insert the image yourself, however. If you prefer, you can print the image, you can use a phone, a tablet, or show it on a second display, if it's easier for you. I'm going to go up to the insert, and raster image reference tool.
