- [Instructor] The ability to create buttons and link commands was one of the first topics I was blown away by when I began using AutoCAD years ago. Macros are a wonderfully efficient way of chaining commands together to streamline and speed up user workflows. It can also remove some of the room for error by forcing the user to follow a series of commands in order. AutoCAD for Mac allows us to create these Macros as tools in the CUI. I'll open the CUI here, under tools. Customize, interface. From here I can either create a tool from scratch or duplicate an existing one and modify it for my needs. In this case, I want to create a button that will start the fillet command and set the radius value to 12. That's a value I use often in my work. So, I'm going to search for the fillet command. Select it. And then duplicate it. From here, I'm going to change the name, alter the description, and then modify the Macro. Select and enter an r for radius, another enter, and then my value…
