- [Instructor] Just as in Windows Explorer, we have some options for Finder that we can customize to our own personal preferences. I'm going to select the Finder icon from the dock, and then I'm going to go up here to the application menu and click on Preferences. Starting with General, there's not a lot of options that I want to change here. However, you could make any of these changes that you like. I'm going to skip back over to Sidebar. From here, I can check and make sure things like the Desktop and Documents are checked so they show up in my Sidebar. Business-wise, I want to make sure I see all my Connected Servers, External Disks, as well as this general device that you'll find here at the top of Devices. This is going to be named whatever you call your specific computer. But, this is sort of like My Computer in Windows, and will show you everything connected to your Apple computer.
