Layouts and Paper Space

- [Instructor] Now that we have our part, we need to get it ready for print and that means getting it into a layout. This is another process where the interface matters a little. So I'm going to show you this in both 2016, which is representative of the process for all versions older than 2016, and then in 2017, which should be representative of the versions going forward. In 2016, we can either click here to see a list of all our available layouts. Or click here for the quick view window. From here, we can right-click on any of the layouts and print them, edit their page setup, or I can drag and drop them to reorder them. If I double-click, I will make that the active layout. We can also switch back and forth using the list here. In the layout, we have a visor across the top with some shortcuts to commonly used tools like new viewport, edit the page setup, and print.
