- [Instructor] The program parameters file is the text file that determines what the shortcut keys do in AutoCAD. In AutoCAD for Mac this file's accessed fairly easily by going up to Tools, Customize, and Edit Command Aliases. This opens the PGP file in text edit. If we scroll down to the bottom of the file, we find a section here specifically for user-defined command aliases. It's important to remember that AutoCAD remembers the last thing it was told, even if it contradicts an earlier statement. This is why it's important to add any changes you want to make to the PGP file at the bottom of the page and not change the commands themselves in the main part of the file. Otherwise, you may mess up the program. So I want to change the letter c shortcut to copy, as I use copy more than circle. We're going to use the same format that we see here.
