- [Instructor] Over the years, AutoCAD's options have grown to give us a lot of control over different facets of the program. AutoCAD for Mac is still building up those options, however, we still have a lot of control over the application. We'll find those options here under the application menu called Preferences. We'll start with General where we find options like the default save as version, as well as options for the right click. This is also where we find the OpenGL Core Profile check box. This is sort of like hardware acceleration for your Mac. If your Mac supports it, this should help improve performance especially for 3D work. One other thing to note on this tab is the reverse zoom direction found here. Depending on the preferences you have set up, and if you have natural scrolling enabled on your Mac, you may want to reverse the zoom direction to match what you're used to.
