- [Narrator] One of the interesting facets of the creation of AutoCAD for Mac is the re-examining of the tools and workflows. AutoCAD for Mac wasn't just ported over, it was rewritten specifically for Mac. This resulted in quite a bit of time and effort by the engineers at Autodesk. And also allowed for a unique opportunity to review tools that have been unchanged in years, were created for specific reasons that are no longer used, or even come up with a better tool in its place. One of these is packaging a drawing, found here under File. Called eTransmit in AutoCAD for Windows, and honestly a very quintessential 90s name, Package a Drawing allows for the same base functionality, namely gathering up all the pertinent files that you need for your drawing, like fonts, line types, PDF, image underlays, or external references and compressing them all together in a single ZIP folder.
