- [Voiceover] Where AutoCAD for windows has the ribbon, AutoCAD for Mac has tool sets. Personally I actually like the tool sets over the ribbon. But it's a completely personal preference. I do actually find the ribbon quite useful. Especially the concept that the same screen real estate can be changed to accommodate different tasks. However, I like the fact that AutoCAD for Mac displays the tool set on the sides of the screen. With most every display I purchased being a wide screen display, I'd rather keep my tools and pallets on the sides of my screen rather than taking up my limited vertical space. The tool sets are quite handy in this respect. And the newer versions even allow me to expand or contract the tool sets to my liking. Each of the tool panels is also collapsible. Meaning I can focus on just the tools that I want to work with. A very interesting feature AutoCAD for Macs tool sets, especially in the newer versions, is the ease of customization.
