Toolbar

- [Instructor] The toolbar is a recent addition to AutoCAD for Mac and very much replicates the Quick Access Toolbar found in the top-left corner of AutoCAD in Windows. I can view the toolbar as text and icons or right-click and view it as icons only. If I prefer, I can also hide the toolbar completely. I do find it convenient; if not, all the tools that it has by default. Fortunately, we can also customize the toolbar to our liking. The selection of commands is somewhat limited, but there are some handy ones to be sure. Personally, I use a mouse for my painting and zooming; so I really don't need the Navigation tools. So I'll go up, grab them and drag them off. In their place, I tend to use Viewport controls quite often, so I'm going to drag them up and place them in the toolbar. Obviously, you can have whatever of these toolsets that you prefer, but hopefully you can find something here of use to you. If not, simply hide the toolbar and get it out of your way.
