- [Instructor] In this AutoCAD tip and trick, we're going to take a little look at the AutoCAD interface and how we can use it to our advantage. So we've got a new drawing for you. It's called 215INTERFACEpanels.DWG, and as usual, you can download it from the library to follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. Now, when you open up the drawing, you should be in the model tab, not the layout tab. So you should be seeing some little metal plates with holes in them, and a few dimensions here and there too, like you can see on the screen at the moment. Now, what we're going to look at is sticky panels and also making sure that our sticky panel arrangement is saved in a new AutoCAD workspace. So how does sticky panels work? Well, sometimes you might want all of your draw tools over here on the draw panel available all the time, even when you're in something like the annotate tab on the ribbon.
