- [Instructor] So here we are again, in the world of AutoCAD and the tips and tricks that we can use to work more effectively in AutoCAD as well. You'll notice we've got a new drawing open, as we do with each tip and trick and this time it's called PALETTES_SimpleBlockPalette.dwg. And you can download that from the website to follow along with the video if you wish. Now you'll notice we've got a nice floor plan there with our grids, our dimensions, our staircases, our rooms, our doors, our windows and so on. However, we're missing furniture. And what we're going to do, we're going to create a simple block palette so that we can drag and drop furniture in and out of our AutoCAD floor plan. Now to do that, we're going to utilize the tool palettes in AutoCAD and DesignCenter in AutoCAD.
