Add fields to a table
- [Instructor] We're sticking with our tables theme in this particular video, but we've go a new drawing for you. It's called TableStyles_FIELDS.dwg Download if from the library, as usual, and when you load it up, you'll notice that we've got a table for polylines and areas, and we've got two green polylines to the right-hand side of the table. We're going to utilize the field command to add information to the cells in the table. So, where it says Polyline Layer as the header, go down a cell in here and double click. You'll get your usual flashing cursor, as if it's expecting regular text input in that cell. Look at the text editor tab in the ribbon, and look at the Insert panel, and you can see there's a Field command, click on it. And you'll find that you now get this great big field dialogue box, which looks a little bit confusing. Don't be daunted by it. Click on the Field category here, and select Objects.
