Add using existing AutoCAD objects

- [Instructor] Adding additional data to vector based GIS data can be done using existing AutoCAD based graphics. Simply selecting each AutoCAD object one at a time and adding attributes after each selection is performed in this lesson. So first we'll open the GUELPH.dwg under chapter nine 09_01, and we're going to drag and drop the STREETS.sdf into that current session. We're going to add two brand new streets. These two streets are actually AutoCAD objects, so if I select on it, and you look at the properties, you can see it's just a polyline in AutoCAD. It has nothing to do with the STREETS.sdf file or any sort of GIS connection. It's a plain, old polyline. It's on the streets layer. It has object data attached. It actually has Gordon Street attached to it. The other one, if you pick on it, look at the properties, you'll see that it has object data as well. It has Southgate Drive. How do we add this data…
