Adding scale dependence

- [Instructor] Sometimes your data is far too large to display at all scales. For example, you would not want to display every single tree planted at the national scale. Adding scale dependence can limit the scale where that layer will appear. You can also change the staff that layer at various scales. Let's do that now. I'm going to add the parcels sdf in exercise files CHO8, O8 03 to my(mumbles) DWG found in that same folder. So I'll drag and drop it into that DWG. And there's my parcels. They come on at all scales and they have the default color assigned. First thing I want to do, is have them turned off at about 125,000 scale. Well, you know what skill you're at by looking down at the middle of your AutoCAD you can see what your particular scale is. You can even set it to a particular scale. So for example, if I go 125,000 and click okay, the scale is currently at 125,000. That is where I want these to turn off.…
