Adding scale dependence

- [Instructor] Sometimes your data is far too large to display at all scales. For example, you may not want to display every tree planted at the national scale. Adding scale dependence will limit the scale at which that layer will appear. You'll have to zoom in to see it. You can also change the style of the layer at various scales. Let's do that for the parcels. Let's drag the PARCELS sdf into our current map. Let's style this parcels. So double click on parcels or click the Style button. First thing we're goin'a do is add a scale range. So we're going to basically set it from 30,000 and higher and from zero to 30,000. So that will be our break. From zero to 30,000, we'll highlight that row and change the style. We're going to change the color of the fills to maybe a light beige, hit Apply. But from 30,000 to infinity, we're going to take the fill away. So we'll remove the fill, so we'll go into the fill area and hit delete, so all you have is an outline. So now what we have is from…
