- [Instructor] We're now going to start in a chapter where we're going to start developing our 2D plan. So we've used our template from the previous chapter to create a new drawing. We're now starting to develop the element of our particular prefabricated unit. So we've got our grid in place. We've got our setting out point in place and the drawing this time is called developingthe2dplan.dwg. As usual, you can download it from the library to follow along with the videos in this chapter. Now the first thing we're going to look at is placing our structural walls and our structural openings. Now in this particular dwg file, you'll see that we've got a lot more layers. We've got things like walls, windows, doors et cetera and the reason I've put those in there this time is to allow you to have more choice so if you're placing some walls, you've got a layer to put the walls on.
