- Now we're in chapter nine. We're going to move on and take a look at some of those VirtuSurv macros that we installed in chapter eight. So in this lesson, we'll look at some of the additional VirtuSurv macros. We'll look at creating slices from the point cloud, the zoom last feature, and creating rectangular objects and extruding them using points in VirtuSurv. So let's create some slices in the point cloud. So we've done this using Point AutoCAD, we've done this in one of the previous chapters, so let's look at how we can do it using VirtuSurv. So I'm going to look for a scan that's sort of giving it the corresponding view, this one's good right here, we can see there's that large globe valve with the sphere on top, which is right here. So based on what we have, let's look at creating some slices. So looking into my AutoCAD macros and I'm going to come down and look for the slice parallel to x and y.
