- [Instructor] Another great tool for creating drawings from the point cloud is the AutoCAD XL feature, where we can create infinite lines placed on points we pick from the point cloud using the VirtuServe. We use the flip link feature first, then align the UCS to the plane, and then apply the XL macros. So let's see how these features work together to create elevations, plans and sections. And you see we already have a plane fit to the edge of this building wall. Now we're going to look for the same wall, the same gable-end of this little shack inside VirtuServe. And you'll find that by opening the last scan. And if we zoom in here we can see that we've got that building. And we're going to just move down and look for our XL vertical, horizontal, and angled lines. So we're just going to give a quick outline of the paneling, this siding that we see here. So to do that, we're going to pick the XL vertical. You'll notice in AutoCAD it's not quite working. It's a little bit off. So what…
