Annotation: Generating an annotative dimension style

- [Instructor] We're starting another AutoCAD tip and trick now, and we're going to be looking in a little bit more detail at annotative dimension styles, so we've got a new drawing for you, it's called Annotative Dim Style.dwg and you can download from the library, as usual, to follow along with this tips and trick video. Now when you open up the Annotative Dim Style drawing, make sure that your current layer is dimensions, as shown there, and also that you are in the model tab and you'll see that we've got a rectangle here and a rectangle here and we're going to dimension those up using an annotative dimension style. Now in order to create that annotative dimension style, you can go to the annotate tab here, and you can click on this arrow here, like so, and that'll take you to the dimension style manager where there is already a training dimension style that is annotative.
