- Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. Today, we're going to be looking at annotation and specifically the Dim Space and Dim Break commands, but also a few little tricks that you can utilize with them to enhance what can be sometimes a bit of messy dimensioning on an AutoCAD drawing. We have a drawing for you. It's called 205_Annotation-Break&Space.dwg You can see the name of it there in the title bar in AutoCAD on the screen. Just download it from the library, open it up in your AutoCAD so that you can follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. Now I'm in the annotate tab on the ribbon, ready to utilize the dimensions panel here. I'm also in the model tab down here bottom left in the drawing. So let's have a look now and see what we can work with using Dim Space and Dim Break. Now the first thing you notice the top in the model space is those horizontal linear dimensions are all a bit mismatched. There's dim text on top of dimension lines and so on. So let's…
