- [Instructor] Welcome to this second part of a two-part series of AutoCAD tips and tricks about synchronizing your blocks across your AutoCAD drawings. Now I'm using the latest version of AutoCAD, which is AutoCAD 2021, because of the new technology available in the AutoCAD Blocks palette. You'll also notice, as per the first part of the series, I've got the New Garden_BLOCKS.dwg file open. So if you haven't done the first part of the series, make sure you download the drawings from the library as requested in the first part of the series to follow along with this second part of the series in these AutoCAD tips and tricks. So in the first part, we looked at placing blocks from the Blocks palette into our drawing but only from the current drawing. So you'll notice on the screen at the moment, I've got the Blocks palette open where I've clicked on the block insert command on the insert tab on the AutoCAD ribbon.
