Break and space dimensions
- We're staying in our MoreDimensioning.dwg file, and what we're going to do now, is place a few more dimensions so that we can start looking at breaking and spacing our dimensions in our AutoCAD drawings. So we're going to make sure that our annotation scale, down on the status bar, is still at 1 to 100. Making sure that we're in the annotate tab on the ribbon, and we're going to utilize the dimensions panel. You can use your dimension layer override here, to make sure that you're using the A-010-D_DIM layer. We're just going to place a few more linear dimensions, so click on the fly out here. And you can select linear. I'm going to go with this end point here, it may show up as a node, based on the 3048 dimension. And then I'm going to come across to the intersection with the grid line here. Click. And just drag upwards a little bit. Take that to sort of there, like so, so it's above the 3048.
