Bulk copy between GIS data sources

- [Instructor] Moving data from one GIS vector data source to another GIS data source is completed using the bulk copy tool. Bulk copy enables you to select the features, and any fields you want to copy over into the destination. Let's do that now. We're going to add parcels and a new subdivision, both STF files. Let's zoom in to the new subdivision. The fastest way to do it as well, you could right-click on subdivision and say zoom to extents. And it will center the subdivision. You'll notice that we have parcels, if I turn the subdivision off, is missing that whole subdivision. What we want to do is take the data that's inside here so if I pick on a single subdivision, look at the properties, you'll see that it has an ID, a street name and a street number. Let's look at the parcels themselves. Again, they have an ID, a street name, and street number. So we need to bulk copy this new subdivision into the existing parcels data.
