Checking your DirectX version in Windows OS

- [Instructor] In the previous video, I talked a little bit about Microsoft DirectX. The API that talks to your graphical processing unit, your GPU, your graphics card that's installed in your computer, your PC, your laptop. Now I've got Autodesk Revit open at the moment. You can have any Autodesk application open. I've just got one open at the moment, because what I want to show you is the ability to check and diagnose your DirectX version when you're working with your Autodesk software. And as I said, we're working with the Windows OS, the Microsoft Windows OS, which means we will be using the DirectX APIs for our proprietary graphics card. Now, all you've got to do to check which version of DirectX you're using. Is use a really simple little command in your windows start menu. Now I've got a windows compatible keyboard.
