Connecting to raster data

- Connecting raster data using the data connect enables you to add one or more images to a single layer. Raster images such as aerial photos, satellites, and scan maps add a large amount of context in your drawing. Let's attach a couple of raster images to our current drawing. In Display Manager click Data, Connect to Data, we're going to click on Add Raster Image or Surface Connection. For the connection name, I'm just going to call it GUELPH_RASTER. Now again I have a choice just like the shapefiles, where I can choose an individual raster file or a folder of them. If I use the individual raster file, that means this connection will only have one image. Whereas if I use a folder, I can combine multiple images in that folder as one layer and that's exactly what we're going to do.
