- [Instructor] Welcome to another AutoCAD Tip and Trick for today. What we're going to look at is a thing called invisible block attributes. Now, basically, you can generate any type of block in AutoCAD from any AutoCAD objects, but what you can do is apply attributes to that block and some of those attributes can be visible on the drawing when you bring the block into the drawing, and some of those attributes can be invisible as well, because you don't want to see them on the drawing but the information might need to be there so that it can be extracted at a later date, perhaps using the data extraction command, to comma into AutoCAD tables or spreadsheets. So we've got a new drawing for you, it's called InvisibleBlockAttributes.dwg. As usual you can download that from the library to follow along with the video. What we're going to do is zoom in a little bit on the bolt in the middle of the drawing, and maybe pan upwards a little bit, just so it's near the top of the drawing area…
