Creating a simple dynamic block

- We're in another new drawing now called DynamicBlock.dwg. And the reason it's called DynamicBlock.dwg is we're going to create a simple dynamic block in AutoCAD. Now, dynamic blocks allow you to add parameters and actions to blocks, so that you can basically manipulate the blocks more easily and more quickly in your AutoCAD drawings. Now, the DynamicBlock.dwg is in the library. You can download it as usual to follow along with the video. Make sure that you are on the door layer, okay? Like so. And you'll notice the arc and the rectangle that make up the door are on layer zero. Like we've done previously when we create blocks we make sure that they're on layer zero first and that way when the block is inserted in the drawing it adopts the current drafting layer. In this case the current drafting layer being the door layer. Now, what we're going to do though is create a block in the same way as we would normally but…
