- [Instructor] Welcome to a series of three videos all about drafting techniques. And these are part of my AutoCAD tips and tricks that I give to you on a weekly basis. So we've got three videos coming up now which are all about drafting techniques in AutoCAD. Now just bare in mind, I am using AutoCAD 2020, the latest version of AutoCAD. And there's a drawing here for you as well, it's called 3D Bracket.dwg and you can download it from the library as usual to follow along with the video. Now, when I say 3D Bracket, it is actually a 3D bracket. If I go over to the view cube here and then click like so, you can see it is actually a 3D object with a bunch of holes through it. Now you don't need to worry about that for this particular video because what I'm going to try and stress to you is how much easier it is in AutoCAD now to work with different drafting techniques, especially with 3D objects like our 3D bracket.
