Dialog boxes and palettes
- [Instructor] We're staying in our interface.dwg file and we're going to take a look now at dialog boxes and pallets. Now, dialog boxes are a standard thing when you're using a Windows-based application. Pallets on the other hand are AutoCAD specific and I'll show you the subtle differences between the two. So as I said, we're in the interface.dwg file, we're still in the model tab, bottom left there at the moment, just looking at the floor plan of our building. Now a typical dialog box would be your dimension-style dialog box that you would utilize to work with dimension styles in your AutoCAD drawings. Now, we'll get into dimension styles and things a little bit later, I just want to show you the dialogue box and how it functions. So go to the home tab on the ribbon and in your annotation panel here, just click on the fly out and you'll see here, we've got an icon here that says, dimension style, just click on it. And…
