- [Instructor] We're staying in our modifyingobjects.dwg file and we're going to have a look now at the divide and measure commands in AutoCAD so that we can start thinking about dividing some walls up to show the points where partitions might come off of the main structure wall. Now, at the moment, we're still lookin' at those conference tables from the previous video so you need to just double click on the wheel to zoom extends. And it's this wall here, down here on the bottom left that we're going to look at using the divide and measure commands. Now you want to ideally keep the polyline because that gives us the area of that room. So the trick here is, this boundary polyline has been placed over the other objects there. So select the polyline and just right click, move on the shortcut menu, pick a corner, and just pop it over here somewhere. You can easily pop it back, because we know that this corner here tallies up with this corner here. Now, you don't actually need those…
