Draw new features from scratch

- Adding GIS vector data to your map allows you to edit and create new features. Adding new features from scratch or drawing directly on the screen is available for all GIS vector layers, regardless of type. Let's try that now. In the Gulf DWG found under chapter 0903 we're going to add the points of interest. Let's drag and drop that in now. There's the points of interest. Under view, we're going to zoom to an area. We're going to draw a brand new point of interest. It's called Top Guelph. Let's pick on that. It'll zoom in and I'll zoom out a little bit, so you can see what I just did. I zoomed into the top corner of Guelph, right there, and we're going to manually add a brand new feature. So how we do that is, and the point of interest layer, POI, we can rename that to point of interest, if we wish. Point of interest. There we go. And we can right click on it and choose create.
