Drawing limits

- [Voiceover] In the previous video, we looked at sessing up our drawing unit in our facilities management drawing. We also brought in the structural plan by way of external referencing it in, and we went and set up all those settings like we did in the previous chapter with the layer control, and renaming the Xref drawing to FP so that the layer management was easier. This time we're going to look at our drawing limits. Ideally, when you do a zoom all or a zoom extents, you should be able to see all of your floor plan. Pretty much what you've got on the screen in front of you right now. So if I zoom out like that, and make the drawing very, very small, and then double click on the wheel of the mouse to do a zoom extents, it should zoom like that. How do you make sure it zooms to that sort of area? What you do is you set your drawing limits. It's very quick and easy, it's a bit like units. You type in limits and you're sessing your model space limits. You press Enter, and it'll ask…
