- [Instructor] Editing your hatches and gradients in your AutoCAD drawings is actually very very easy. We're staying in the HatchAndGradients.dwg file, and you can see the hatch and the gradient fill that we've placed in the previous videos. All you've got to do in AutoCAD is hover over the hatch like that. It'll tell you it's a hatch pattern, double click on it, and now you'll find that you're in the hatch editor. Now sometimes when you do double-click on a hatch pattern, you may find that you get the quick properties palette come up. Don't worry about that, you can close it like that, very quick and easily, and you can see that the hatch editor contextual tab is now available on the ribbon at the top of the screen. So it looks very very much like the hatch creation tab on the ribbon. All you're doing now though is you're editing the properties of your hatch pattern.
