- [Voiceover] We're staying in our 04_DrawingObjects.dwg file and what we're going to look at now is drawing Ellipses in AutoCAD 2017. Now, you'll notice in the center of the screen there, there's a white rectangle. Now, we need to zoom in to that white rectangle. Now, these particular lines will not be visible in the drawing that you open from your Lynda.com Exercise Files. They're purely sacrificial lines for my purposes to demonstrated exactly how you form an Ellipse in AutoCAD, so there is a model view saved for this though, so if I go over here to our View Control and click on the word Top, like we've done in previous videos, and you hover over Custom Model Views, you will see there that you've got Reception 2. Select that and it zooms you in nice and closely. Now, I'm just gonna zoom in a bit more on the wheel of my mouse by rolling upwards there. You don't need to do that if you don't want to.
