- [Instructor] We're starting another chapter now where we need to start thinking about setting the units for 3ds Max. Now we start in AutoCAD with our transition drawing, our 3D_Ground Floor.dwg file. You can see that on the screen. You can download this from the library, there will be another version of it for this particular chapter. So don't worry about the one from the previous chapter that you created, this is a whole new drawing that's for this chapter only. So 3D_Ground Floor.dwg Now what we've got to think about is units because obviously, when we're creating our Scene in 3D Studio Max we want it to have the same units as what we're using in our AutoCad drawing. Because otherwise everything starts to get a bit crazy. So, for example if you've got a wall a meter long and you're working in metric millimeters. That wall will be a thousand millimeters long. We want the distance to be the same in the Scene in 3D…
