Exporting GIS data

- Sharing DWG data with other GI systems is part of the full design cycle within most of our organizations. Many standard formats such as shape, MapInfo tab, SDF, MicroStation DGN are all available to export. We're going to export our streets DWG out to an SDF file. This format is common across Autodesk as well as other open source platforms, such as map guide. Let's zoom in and look at these streets. If I pick on one of the street segments and I right click and look at properties, we have all sorts of data. We have the layer it's on, the line type the material and so on. But some of the things that are most important is that we've taken the time to put the name of the street and a feature ID on each one. I want to make sure when I export this to an SDF that we capture the feature ID and perhaps even the color or the layer it's on. Okay. How do we export?
