Extruding your external wall boundaries
- [Instructor] Welcome to a new chapter, and what we're going to be looking at now is extruding our boundary polylines that we created in our original AutoCAD drawing in 3ds Max. So you can see at the top of the screen there I've got a 3D_Ground Floor.max file open. There is a copy of this available for this chapter that you can download from the library and use it to follow along with the videos. So what we're going to do in this particular video is extrude a nice external walls, the green ones there that you can see in the same 3ds Max. So if you just come in to the drawing area like so and click on them, can you see their highlight in a white color, like so, now you can change the color here if you want to, so I can click here and I can change that to any color I want it to be, so let's make it a nice green color again, for example. And I like that, and you can see now that I've changed the color of that in my 3ds Max scene.…
