- [Narrator] Welcome to another AutoCAD Tip and Trick. We've got a new drawing for you. It's called Geometry.dwg. As usual, download it from the library to follow along with this tips and tricks video. We're going to be looking at a new feature of the new version of AutoCAD, AutoCAD 2020. And it's a thing called "quick measure." And if you've used "quick dimension" before in previous versions of AutoCAD, you'll find that quick measure sort of operates in a similar way, a similar work flow. So in our geometry drawing at the moment we've got a rectangle, a circle, and a little six-sided polygon, a hexagon there. And what we're going to do now is have a look at the quick measure facility. It's on the home tab on the ribbon, in the utilities panel. Click on the fly-out here and there's the quick measure tool there. So we click on quick come into the drawing area and you get this weird crosshair but if you hover over anything, can you see that line is 1,500? Come over this way, that line's…
