- [Instructor] We're now in the next chapter of the course. And what we're going to do now is look at the user interface in AutoCAD 2018. Now, there are some new features in the 2018 user interface. And we're going to look at those but we've got a new drawing to work with from our exercise files. And you can see the name of it at the top of the screen. It's UserInterface.dwg. So make sure you use that file to follow along with these videos in this chapter. Now, we've got the UserInterface.dwg file open and the first thing we're going to look at is the file navigation dialog box. Now what you'll find is when you're working in Windows and AutoCAD, quite often, you'll save a file in a big long list of files using the file navigation dialog box. You'll then go back to it a couple of days later and you'll realize that Windows has sorted it alphanumerically and you've got loads of drawings that have similar file names and it takes you awhile to find that particular file.
