Filtering vector layers

- [Instructor] Showing the subset of the GS vector data using filters can quickly limit the data you wish to see and cut out those records you don't need. For example, if you only wanted to see the roads within a particular country, you could filter the layer based on the country name. Or we could filter geographically. In this drawing, we're going to filter the zoning SDF within the GWELPH.DWG file. So rather than dragging and dropping the zoning SDF, instead, I'm going to back to the task pane, picking data, connected data, choose Add SDF connection, I'm going to call this SDF zoning. I'm going to choose the source file that same SDF, we just saw under 08_04 Zoning, hit Connect. And now we can choose in the drop down box, add to map or add to map with query.
